FRANK POOLE HIDDEN HERO AWARD (#620)
Frank had a strong love for the Jaycees and served his local chapter and the state organization in many ways over the years. He was a leader, trainer, member and friend. Frank possessed a quiet strength. He could give you support or encouragement with the right words,a small gesture or just a look. Frank also loved a good joke. He knew how to lighten your load, just a little, but bringing a smile to your face. He could make you see that, no matter what the problem, the moment is to be enjoyed and you're even allowed to laugh at the situation. The most remarkable thing about the man was that he was able to convey all these things without being asked or expecting anything in return. He was a genuinely sincere person who made you a better person by knowing him.
This award is presented annually to a Jaycee Militia Major who has given freely of his time, talent, and support, without being asked or given recognition, for the betterment of the entire organization throughout the year.
